この問題は、

という問題集からとったもので、正しい文です。解説には、
―leave, go, come, arrive などの往来発着を表す動詞は、未来の内容も現在形で表せる。
と書いてあります。
ま、日本語でも「父は明日帰ります」と現在形で表すのと同じことです。
