So, since Mongolia is situated on the north of China (to the west of Manchuria), then why are some Asians light-skinned, and others not so light-skinned, despite the geographic location...
(Yes, if that matters, I'm aware that that the southern portion of Mongolia is taken up by part of the Gobi Desert, but the northern and western portions are mountainous, being really very cold...)
