I should admit first of all that the most important thing for me in a job is a reasonably good salary: I believe that if hard work is expected, it should be properly rewarded. It is, of course, also important to have working conditions which are comfortable, fellow workers who are pleasant and helpful, and a variety of interesting tasks to perform. (1)My ideal job would also give me a chance to meet people and to make my own decisions, though still working as a member of a team.
This ideal job would also give me adequate holidays because people like me perform much better at work when we have holidays to look forward to! (2)There should also be good chances to get a higher position if I can show that I deserve it. I'd like to feel that there was no risk of being dismissed or being put out of work and that I could look forward to a good pension when I retire. An impossible dream? Perhaps, but it does no harm to dream. [京産大]
