道路使用者は交通事故に対して多くの責任を持っている。つまり、運転手は自分はもとより他人の安全に、歩行者は主に自分自身の安全に対して責任を持っている。一方、乗客は比較的ほとんど交通事故に対しての責任を持っていないのである。
