    次の英文(A)と(B)を和訳しなさい。
(A) The knowledge stored in the British Library is immense, but to unlock its potential it must be used. Books have to be read, music listened to, and pictures seen. Many items in the Library are deteriorating from age an overuse. Some modern items are in a serious state of decay, having been produced with poor quality materials. Right now it would take us over 100 years just to cope with present conservation needs. And each year this need grows. We must do something to preserve our literary heritage from vanishing before our eyes. (Leaflet of the British Library, adopt a book より)
(B) Science means, literally, knowledge. But it is knowledge which has been critically examined, rigorously tested and oredered into a system of ideas. A science implies a method of assessing and understanding knowledge. The natural science include the physical sciences which deal with non-living substances, the biological sciences which are the study of living things, and medicine in so far as it studies humans as biological systems. (R. Preece, Starting Research)
