Read the three situations below. Choose ONE and write about it.
1) You have just won a lot of money in the National Lottery (takarakuji). What will you do with it? List possible ways of spending it. Give reasons to support your choice.
2) You are going to enter a university. This will be a new stage in your life. How will your life have changed five years from now? Give examples, showing how your life life will be in the same and how it will be different.
3) A recent letter in a Japanese English newspaper said that English language education in Japan was a waste of time. It argued that: a) Japanese people don't need to study English, and b) Japanese should study their own language more. Write a reply arguing this opinion. Respond to both of the points. Give reasons and evidence to support your ideas.
