いいえ、正解は、(1) reading のみで、(3) while reading を空所に入れることはできません。while を使うのなら、仮主語の It を使って、It is worth while reading this book, ... としなければなりません。ただ、この形は while を省略して、It is worth reading this book, ... とすることもできます。
