環境をきれいにすることは、美や健康の両方の理由で、重要である。例えば、道端で自分が飼っている犬の糞をかたずけない多くの飼い主がいる。犬の散歩の時に、もし小さな袋や犬の糞を拾う何かを持っていれば、犬の糞をかたずけることは容易であるのに。

ほとんど問題がありません。

×美や健康の両方
→両方というからには２つのはずですが、「や」としてしまうと、まだ他にあることになってしまいます。やはり「と」のほうがいいでしょう。

？多くの飼い主がいる。
→「〜する飼い主が多い」としたほうが日本語として自然です。

■訳例: 美観面でも衛生面でも、環境を清潔にすることは大切だ。たとえば、道端で自分の飼い犬がした糞の後始末をしようともしない飼い主が多い。しかし、犬を散歩に連れて行くとき、小さな袋と何かつかむものを持っていけば、簡単に後始末できることなのだ。
