My father has to work on Saturday.　（「〜する必要はない」の意味に）

（　）内の指示に従って、次の文を書きかえなさい。
We must help our mother.　（過去の文に）

□解説

must = have (has) to という助動詞ですが、ここで少しややこしいのは、

(1) You must go. ＝ You have to go.
(2) You must not go ≠ You don't have to go.

というように、(2)は意味が違ってくることです。
